filled up my basket with things i didnt really need and then proceeded to empty it at the last minute to fill it up with books instead. the horror.

having supper at 4 am not exactly comforting on the tummy. :S

yanty wants the pictures, hence why they are up with very little words.

i got tons of things to do and i do not know where to start.

well, technically, 5 more days, but im more excited what’s coming in 3 days time.
ha ha ha ha ha ha.

just giving ideas. i also dont know what i want.
very contented with what i have now. or at least i will in 3 days time.

lunch part pt 2

menu for the day:

• Roasted chicken with oregano and lemon juice
• Roasted potatoes and garlics
• Grilled portabello mushrooms
• garden salad with balsamic vinegrette
• chawan mushi
• thai vermicelli salad.
• japanese tea rice
• ondeh-ondeh
• fried mars bars

garden salad, try not to buy the pre pack vegetables kind cause i tried it once or twice, only a few brands really nice.

try to buy the vegetables as it is. unfortunately, ntuc doesnt sell it either.

when you go to cold storage, they will have a section where you can select your own salad.

get Wild Rockets[this vegatable makes your salad looks really really nice, it's the shape of the leaf kinda, you can see in the above picture.], and the mixed cabbages[purple and green], then throw in a few cherry tomatoes.

100g is only about S$1.47, for each type of vegetables, so it’s really really cheap and good.

compared to one bag of pre packed ones which cost up to S$6.45.

my ondeh ondeh failed.
first time making it, the sugar’s too little and lack of flour so it’s not chewy, i shall attempt at it again soon.

oh, if you’re planning on roasting potatoes, never ever buy the indonesian kind, always buy the holland kinds (which you cant get at NTUC, -.-)

because the indonesian ones are not nice. get the holland ones, the inside is white and not exceptionally annoyingly yellow [ the texture is not firm, it crumbles, and according to my mum, because of the soil used, it has this very strong funny smell]. )

you can get the holland ones either at cold storage or jason’s.

im sure the girls enjoyed lunch, melissa even wanted to dog-bag some of it that got me pretty startled.

was at paragon with sham, walked into Aigner, Salvatore Feragamo, Chanel [the one i was eyeing cost 1070!!! i can feed cambodian children for 3 mths with tt money! or adam said i could build a house with tt in philippines, which is actually true.], gucci [ i dont like the latest designs.] and we entered LV!

just for fun. all so expensive. i.can.just.die.

and you see all the artistes parading such brands in their everyday life. crazy.

but yes, i got an early birthday present! he he he he.

god. meeting charlene after so long is so nice. i missed her so much i felt like eating her.

Today we spent hours trying to figure out buttons on my camera that i never knew existed.
he attempted to create some comic strip and disturbed me while i was trying to read. )

his mum just flew down from canada, that moment of mother and son hugging is such a nice image.

and the cookies were so nice!! i likeee!!!!

but it’s so good he is starting to annoy me already. he’s getting his arse back on track!

we had dinner at No Signboard.
interestingly, i actually prefer the chili crab sauce compared to Red House.
hmmm…. yu tiao, i still prefer Red House.

they have this interesting white pepper crab which i kinda like as well, cause they put alot of spring onions and im a big fan of that vegetable.

fish wise, Red House still tops for me.

i am officially burnt.
Sham and i had the whole of St Johns’ island to ourselves.
it was amazing.

we had the whole beach to ourselves. absolutely no one was there. wah.

and now he’s in bangkok with the boys. not jealous cause i dont fancy bangkok.

so,after i sent the boys off at the airport, i had this RAGING war with the ant family in his toilet today as i was spring cleaning.

i was hopping mad. literally. from anger and pain.

as i was cleaning the washroom, i picked up this rattan basket i bought from Ikea, where we store all the extra toiletries, the moment i picked it up, nests after nests after nests of ants and termites fell straight to the sink and floor!

the horror! they started biting my leg and i was clearly disgusted and disgruntled by their less then friendly behaviour.

i dumped the whole thing into the bathtub and drowned them. sprayed the floor with water and killed them one by one.

not satisfied, i threw the already wet rattan basket out of the window, drove out to Ikea and bought new baskets. [plus other things that i really shouldnt because at the check out counter, i saw the bill and im like u-oh.]

well, now, we have 2 cactuses in the washroom, and new bath mat….and some other stuff that im sure sham will be pissed to know i bought. but tts besides the point.

so i drove back home with full force, marched up to the house and dumped the entire washroom in the bathtub.

literally.
all the shamboo bottles, the moisturizer tubs, candle holders, combs, brushes, EVERYTHING.

i had to fight this war against the crawlies.[plus sham bought that poison thing, so the dead ants are lying everywhere and i had to clear them off. tsk. annoying.]

annoyed me so much. -.-

it’s clean. for now. i need to find the mother nest. it’s somewhere. i hope ive destroyed it, cause after i emptied the washroom, i sprayed the whole washroom with water. every single nook and cranny.

ill give it 2 days. see how it is.

im going to buy dettol and sanitize the place.

i detest ants!!!!
